How training and certification work

Healthy Mothers, Healthy Babies Coalition of Palm Beach County’s Stronger Together program prepares local doulas to support families through pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. Training is delivered by HMHB’s Doulio-certified trainers, helping build local capacity for doula care.

Hands-on learning
In-person training covers practical skills such as comfort measures, labor positioning, and newborn care, depending on your pathway.
Mentorship and support
Learn alongside mentors who practice as doulas. After certification, doulas keep access to Doulio’s learning platform for continuing education and resources.
Topics, languages, and inclusions vary by training and cohort. Trainings may be offered in English, Spanish, and Haitian Creole.
